Laser Etched Pet Glasses
These laser engraved pet glasses have proven to be very popular, but very finicky to create. When it comes to glass, CO2 lasers are not capable of actually “engraving” glass. Instead, it superheats microscopic air bubbles trapped inside the glass walls. This causes them to burst and fracture, creating the frosted look you see on the glass. To create a detailed image such as a picture of a pet, requires applying heavy image filters to sharpen edges and invert the colors so it looks correct on the glass.
